ETMGlobal – December 2018 – The Fruits of Patience

The Fruits of Patience

[Psa 37:7-9]
v7. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
v8. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.
v9. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

There’s a journey from when we receive a word from God to the manifestation of that word and what keeps us in check is the spirit of patience. Patience is full trust in God, a total focus on him as the source and performer of his word. Anyone who truly trusts in God will not have any problem with being patient. Such an one will never be worried, knowing fully well that irrespective of what happens the word of God must surely come to pass. That trust will make you wait patiently. Impatience is a sign that we don’t really trust God.

The key to seeing the promises of God come to fruition is in patience. Patience is what helps us experience the almightiness of God in full. The experience that we get thru patience can never be gotten any other way (Romans 5:3-5).

The fruits of Patience are indeed sweet but the process of Patience might look like walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him, no matter what happens as long as the manifestation of his word is your main focus then the process can only lead to your manifested expectations.

Stay Edified.

This is coming to me at the right time: I was wondering if I would ever lead a normal/stable life, in Christ.
The answer is clear:”. . . no matter what happens as long as the manifestation of his word is your(my) main focus then the process can only lead to your(my) manifested expectations.”
